End Polio Now
The best known of Rotary International's projects is the campaign to eradicate polio, which began in 1987. After 30 years of hard work, Rotary and its partners are on the brink of eradicating this tenacious disease, which is now present in only two countries: Pakistan and Afghanistan. A strong push is needed now to root it out once and for all. It's a window of opportunity of historic proportions.
